Big Changes!

To my dear Young Women,

As you all know, there have been some pretty big changes in our young women program last week. I, Sister V, and my presidency were released and Sis. Dean has been called as your new president. She has called Sis. Biesinger and Sis. Kempton to be her new counselors. It came as quite a shock to me, but the Lord had other plans for me apparently. This church is wonderful because it is always giving us more opportunities to serve and to grow, and as hard as it may be sometimes, when we accept new callings we always learn so much and are continually progressing forward, which is just what the Lord expects of each of us -progression (Ah-ha. That's why your goal program is called Personal Progress, huh?)

Please know how much I love each of you, and how much I have loved seeing you every week and being a part of your life. The Lord knew that I needed that "girl time," and I miss it, and you, already. Please know that I have a strong testimony of the importance of the YW program. I know it is inspired and designed to give you just what you need to strengthen you against the adversary and to prepare you to enter the temple and serve him throughout your life as a daughter in Zion. What incredible women you will be! I hope you will continue to work on your Personal Progress. What a wonderful program Personal Progress is! The whole thing is specifically designed to improve your testimony, prepare you for the temple, and best of all, strengthen your relationship with Christ. The blessings are so great that it is really worth the effort. Keep working at it!

I am so excited for you and all you new leaders. They will all be wonderful! You will have so much fun!

I, and the other leaders who have been released, love you and will miss you all!

Love always,
Sis. VanBuskirk

P.S. Don't forget to send dear old Sis. V your temple wedding announcement one day! I'll be there!
