Princesses from all over the land...
were invited to come to the King's castle to the Bermuda Dunes Ward New Beginnings program last Wednesday.
They came to learn about this years new Mutual Theme "Be Strong, and of a Good Courage..."
Tales of the strong and courageous are embodied in fairy tales - bold knights slaying dragons, and courageous princesses standing for goodness.
We also introduced the beautiful new Personal Progress items!
Then the Beehives took turns introducing our new incoming Beehives one by one! 
What wonderful young girls!
We are so excited to have them join us in 2010!
Then the Young Women sang "Behold a Royal Army."
They did a great job of blending and singing in parts!
Then our special guest speakers, Bro. and Sis. Kempton gave some wonderful, powerful talks on the Mutual Theme about being Strong and of Good Courage. Sis. Kempton read us the story of "The Paper Bag Princess", and did a terrific job of explaining how it applies to every girl. Bro. Kempton gave a powerful story about an extraordinary young woman. Everyone was touched!
Then came the CAKE!
Sis. Valdez made the cake, and it caught every one's eyes from the moment they walked into the room! It was beautiful!
As it turns out, it tasted pretty fantastic too!
Everyone had a great time and got that boost that they needed to be strong and of a good courage.
The princesses all agree...
2010 is going to be a Fairy Tale year!
