"When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's Amore!"

On Wednesday we all went over to Sis. V's house to learn how to make homemade pizza. Some of the girls were freaked out by the fact that Sis. V told them that yeast, an necessary ingredient in pizza dough is alive! Then we all got busy taking turns kneading the dough.
Making pizza is a lot of work, and a good workout for the arms and shoulders. Remember ladies, the key to great pizza crust is lots and lots of kneading!

Then, while we waited for the dough to rise, we played a game of "Speak It Not", which is an
LDS version of
TaBoo. What fun!
Tati got Sis. V to guess "bridge room" and we all asked what a bridge room was. But the word was "bridegroom". Pretty funny.

Sis. V makes her own sauce and fresh basil is a must!

Then cam the great toss up. Well, I don't know if anybody actually tossed the dough in the air, but they did fling it around a bit.

Ready to assemble!

First some good olive oil and the yummy chunky sauce.

Then came the cheese. Lots, and lots, and LOTS of cheese. These girls LOVE cheese!

Then came the toppings. Everybody brought their favorite topping to add to the pizza. They are like works of edible art.

Look at that Canadian bacon, pineapple, and extra cheese pizza.
Mouth-watering, isn't it?

Or the combo pizza with pepperoni, bell peppers, sun dried tomatoes, fresh mushrooms, and extra cheese.
Give me a slice of each!

See what I mean by lots of cheese? We all agreed that we made some pretty fabulous pizza together.
And that's Amore!
