On Wednesday night we had our Conference kick off, to get us all excited about our upcoming General Conference. We did a conference trivia quiz, and then played a game of memory match to try to get to know our beloved apostles better.
Then, using the knowledge we had gained about the apostles, we played "Who Am I?" as we tried to guess which general authority was on our back. We also played a few more game, testing our knowledge of our apostles.
Finally was put together Conference Kits filled with pretty little things to help us throughout conference , like a highlighters to mark favorite scriptures quoted by the speakers, tissues to dab our eyes wen we feel the spirit, a compass to remind us to follow the direction of out leaders, lip gloss to remind us to keep our lips closed and our ears open during each session, a magnifying glass to help us seek the answers for our questions in the words of the Brethren, and seek the spirit to be with us, and fireballs, so that the fire of the spirit will burn within us when we hear truth that we need. We also put together flip cards about our apostles to reference during conference, and a notebook to take notes and work on personal progress. Everyone committed to work on their personal progress this weekend. So keep working on your personal progress ladies, and enjoy conference!
