Doing SEW Much Good Works!

On Wednesday we all got together to sew pillowcases to give to children who are in the Pediatric ward of Desert hospital. We found fun, colorful, kid-friendly fabric in hopes that the pillowcases will brighten up the otherwise dreary hospital rooms, and that the children will enjoy their own pillowcase to take home when they are feeling better.

Of course, it was a great opportunity to learn a few sewing skills, and serve others at the same time.

The girls who are already excellent seamstresses did such a great job helping those who were new at it. Thanks!
What kid wouldn't love one of these fun, one of a kind pillowcases?
Not only did we do good works, learn to sew, pass off a personal progress experience, but we had a great time too! Proving once again that Good Works are SEW much fun!
